Four Frequently Asked Questions:
There is so much information available on my website and social media channels, but sometimes you just have the one question and no time to wade through pages of information.
I decided to put together some short videos which address the most frequently asked questions in the past couple of years; I hope that you will find these useful, however if what you need is not there, please get in touch.
FAQ 1: Where are you based?
Pre-Covid this was a really important question as my clients had to take into account travel time etc, particularly if they worked, however now I work online which means no travelling, no worries about parking and more flexibility with appointment times.
FAQ 2: What is an initial consultation?
The initial consultation is usually a Zoom session of about 20 minutes; this enables us both to ask questions and share information. Following that I then send out all the relevant paperwork, the consent forms etc to be completed and returned prior to the first session. Payment is made online prior to the first session. I'll also send you some guidelines on using Zoom during therapy eg how to prepare for the session, what to do if the connection drops etc.
Some clients may be worried that if the connection drops they will get stuck in hypnosis... Don't worry, this just can't happen as you would automatically open your eyes and come back into the room if you did not hear my voice for a few minutes.
FAQ 3: How often would we have hypnotherapy sessions?
Depending on the therapy program, appointments are usually weekly; most programs are 4 sessions over 4-6 weeks and this is supported by add-on tasks which I hope you will find both fun and interesting to do.
Any recordings sent to you should be downloaded to your phone or computer as they are yours to use for as long as you choose.
4: Can you guarantee that I will lose weight?
Your weight management and goals will always be assessed during the initial consultation sessions so that you are able to set realistic goals. The program that I use for weight management is highly effective and is most definitely not a diet!
Still have questions, or ready to book a consultation?
Don't delay because appointments book up very quickly!
You may find additional information on my Facebook page and then it's just a matter of getting in touch: Phone/ text or email me, or use the form below - but please be reasonable! You must give me a mobile phone contact number in order to proceed. My aim is to return calls the same day (Monday to Friday) if received before 6pm, but sometimes life gets in the way.
Although I check contact emails etc during the weekend, this is my family time therefore I do not work with clients on Saturday or Sunday.
if you have questions or are looking to connect with me on a professional level on behalf of your company or business, the best way to do that is via my LinkedIn profile.
Finally, remember that I am not medically qualified so cannot give medical advice.
You must consult your GP/consultant with any questions about your health and may be referred back to your GP before therapy begins.
If you have questions about Covid-19 please visit the nhs website for up-to-date information.
