This is my latest qualification which sits nicely alongside the work I do with issues around anxiety. It formalises a lot of the work I have done recently, and complements the techniques I already use with clients experiencing Loss.
In the past couple of years I have certainly seen an increase in the number of clients affected by Loss.
What do I mean by Loss?
Well, some of these had been bereaved of a partner or beloved pet and some had experienced loss because of a change of circumstances such as redundancy, relocation, or the breakdown of a relationship.
What they all had in common was that they were stuck in Limbo: they felt disconnected from their friends and families, existing rather than living, and experiencing physical and emotional symptoms such as loss of appetite, insomnia etc and not being able to move on.
My programme is not for someone recently bereaved ie I do not offer bereavement counselling, but I am a good listener. It may be that you have had bereavement counselling but feel that there is something still not quite right, in which case please get in touch.
Grief is a natural process and should not be dismissed; nor should it have a time limit. We all grieve in our own way in our own time.
My programme, Grief and Loss: Moving On, is a 4 session programme of hypnotherapy, supplemented with reiki, which will help you to reconnect with the world when you are ready.
Here’s some recent feedback:
“I have been helped so much by Anne Marie Stagg. When I first went to her I was in such a state and near suicidal. With her help, through hypnotherapy, I am able to cope so much better with everyday life; the difference to my life to where I was, is amazing…
I will be forever grateful as I would not be here today, coping with life again if it was not for her, and as my family would say, they have got their mum back ….”
If you are ready to move on from grief and loss, please contact me and we’ll organise your free 20 minute phone consultation. We’ll talk about your challenges and plan the way forward.
