Where are you based?
I live in East Yorkshire but now work exclusively online, so whether you live in Doncaster or Dundee, Gloucester or Glasgow as long as you have a solid internet connection, a laptop or similar and are willing to invest time in yourself, we should be able to work together. I now offer extended opening hours Monday to Friday but the weekends are family time.
Where can I find out about hypnotherapy and about your experience as a hypnotherapist?
The best way to have your questions answered is to make contact with the hypnotherapist (that's me!) and book an initial consultation.
What is an initial consultation?
There is no charge* for the initial phone consultation session of 20 minutes which is when we share information. I can email the consent forms etc to be completed and returned prior to the first session and payment is made online.
Now that I am working online payments will be by bank transfer or I-Zettle; payment secures the booking.
This also now applies for Stop Smoking.
How often would I have to attend appointments?
Depending on the therapy programme, appointments are usually weekly; most programmes are 4 sessions over 4-6 weeks and this is supported by homework tasks.

Can you guarantee that I will lose weight?
The success of weight loss, or any other therapy for that matter, depends on the client and how they engage with the therapy. I can't give you a guarantee that you will lose x amount of pounds in x sessions, but I will give you all of the tools to change your mindset re exercise, portion control and relationship with food.
How much does it cost?
Most work is done in blocks of 2 or 4 sessions as a package; you will be asked to sign a Terms and Conditions document which sets out an agreement between myself as a therapist and you as the recipient of the therapy. Please read this carefully as it gives clear guidance on what to do if you need to reschedule an appointment.
If you have decided that hypnotherapy might be right for you, please don't make cost the most important question you ask. You need to feel confident with your therapist and it doesn't matter how much or how little they charge, if you don't feel comfortable with them then walk away.
A good therapist invests in regular training and will have membership of recognised associations. Ensure that your therapist has uptodate insurance too.
Remember that if the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.
